The annual Kennett Summerfest began in Kennett Square in 2017. While Kennett Square is known for being The Mushroom Capital of the World and for being the home to Longwood Gardens, Summerfest has made this a summer destination for wine lovers, food enthusiasts, and festival goers alike.

Guests enjoy exceptional local and regional wineries, delicious small plates from local restaurants, and live music that fills the streets with summertime energy.

The event begins with an exclusive VIP Reception, featuring premium tastings and early access to explore the festival before it opens to the public.

The regular Summerfest session showcases more than a dozen wineries from renowned regional vineyards, paired with artisanal foods and local vendors. There’s always something new to discover each year—beautiful art, interactive experiences, and a lively community vibe that celebrates the best of Kennett in summer.
